Le chemin des rêves - Benoît Viot Vigneron

Native in the Loire Valley, chemist in big pharmaceutical company for 10 years, he always had the passion of biology , medicine, and wine.

Before starting wine-growing, he spent several years trying and understanding the alchemy of  the wine. He even made wine (with powder from Boots) in his bathroom while in England!

After 2 years in Chile, he decided to throw himself (and his family) into the adventure.

He trained for two years. In 2004 he rented seven hectares of vineyards under the appellation Coteaux du Languedoc Pic Saint Loup and Grés de Montpellier in Saint Gély du Fesc and Combaillaux. He bought farm machinery and wine making equipment and created « Le Chemin des Rêves ».The wine estate was named after the lane which runs along the vineyards named « the  Lane of dreams » by an inhabitant who used to walk along it.

In 2008 he bought 7 hectares of vineyards and a winery in Saint Gély

In 2009 he built a cellar where you'll be invited to taste and buy his wine.
